IOC President Dr. Jacques Rogge announces his candidacy for a second term as IOC President

Dr. Jacques Rogge formally announced his candidacy for another term as IOC president, pledging to build on 4 successful Olympic Games under his stewardship and make the fight against drug cheats and childhood obesity his key priorities.
No one is expected to challenge the 66-year-old Belgian at the IOC's assembly in Denmark in October next year, making his re-election for a final four-year term a near formality.
As AppliTek & its Chairman and CEO have their roots (and still live) in Deinze where Dr. Rogge is a honorary citizen, we ALL at AppliTek wish Dr. Rogge success in his re-election.
