AppliTek (Belgium) and the IKK Group of Companies (Saudi Arabia) to renew cooperation agreement

16.10.2009 -- AppliTek (Belgium) and the  Isam K. Kabbani Group of Companies (Saudi Arabia)  to renew cooperation agreement for further development of its business in the KSA, during Belgian trade mission led by HRH Crown-Prince Philippe of Belgium.

The Isam K. Kabbani (IKK) Group of Companies lists in the Top30 of Saudi's biggest companies. The IKK Group is a diversified group in terms of products, services and geography operating in the fields of trading, manufacturing and contracting. It is composed of 22 independent companies. These companies operate through 156 divisions' branches and outlets that are spread over 9 countries covering all major cities in the region. The number of employees reaches about 8,000 employees in all positions. The seed of the IKK Group was sown in the late 1960's when NEPRO Factory for PVC pipes was established as the first of its kind in the Middle East.

The vision of the IKK Group is clear it looks forward to be a major, well organized, well diversified business institution serving most of the Arab World in the industrial, construction, trading fields as well as specialized maintenance services and construction management. A Group that is willing and able to expand at the rate of 15-20% per annum making it a SAR 5 billion Group in 2012. This will put IKK Group among the largest specialized entities in the Middle East.

AppliTek's President & CEO David Laurier & IKK President Sjeikh Hassan Issam Kabbani will be renewing their cooperation agreement during an official signing mission in Dammam, the capital of the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, on Oct. 27, 2009.

During the signing session, the 2 companies will announce their further plans to strengthen their relationship on an technological & peripheral basis. The event is to be held in a private residence in Dammam, in Presence of highly placed local officials, and HRH Crown-Prince of Philippe.
