AppliTek to exhibit at Offshore Europe 2009, Aberdeen

AppliTek is presenting a selection of its product portfolio at Offshore Europe 2009, Aberdeen, Schotland. Having already set foot in several refineries, AppliTek shows its analytical solutions on a specific set of offshore applications, such as moisture monitoring in sour gas, sulphate content in waterflood injection and detection of zinc compounds in corrosion sensitive installations.
AppliTek has a firm reputation in on-line monitoring for refinery/blending applications. Recently AppliTek was involved in the implementation of the first on-line RAMAN analyzer system in Europe for monitoring component streams in a refinery. The company was involved in the feasibility study, the development of the chemometric models, and the on-site commissioning of the whole system. The whole analyzer system, including multiplexing unit, is Zone 0 certified under the EU ATEX Directive 94/9/EC for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Raman seems to be a prodigious technology for on-line monitoring purposes and already backed up AppliTek's expertise expertise for refineries: petroleum applications, acid alkylation applications, amine acid gas applications and specific low level applications.
