AppliTek & University of Guadalajara, Mexico sign agreement in presence of Crown-Prince Philippe of Belgium

AppliTek and the University of Guadalajara have signed a cooperation agreement in Mexico City on March 24, 2009 in presence of Crown-Prince Philippe of Belgium.
The Rector General of the University of Guadalajara, Dr. Marco A. Cortés Guardado, and the President & CEO of AppliTek exchanged signatures in order to foster a closer cooperation between AppliTek and the University in the field of on-line analyzers and their deployment in control strategies for wastewater treatment plants.
The Department of Exact Sciences and Engineering has acquired several analyzers from AppliTek. The analyzers will be used as demonstration equipment. The Department is at the same moment a focal point of AppliTek expertise in Mexico, and will serve as AppliTek's center of excellence and reference in Mexico.
The University is the second biggest University in Mexico, with a population of 205.000 students. The Department is one of the leading engineering departments in the world in the field of environmental process control, with a population of 13.500 students.
