The International Olympic Committee has re-elected the Belgian Jacques Rogge as its president.

As AppliTek and its Chairman and CEO have their roots (and still live) in Deinze where Dr. Rogge is a honorary citizen and also lives, we ALL at AppliTek wish to congratulate Dr. Rogge with his re-election.

Rogge was given near unanimous approval, winning election again by an 88-1 count to close the 121st session of the IOC. This will be the final four-year term for Rogge. IOC presidents are restricted to an eight-year term, followed by a single four-year term.

All the best Dr. Rogge, and keep up the good work.
