Dear stakeholders and Friends of AppliTek
Again a globally turbulent year 2009 has come to an end...
Closing the books on 2009 will bring many of us a feeling of comfort. Memories of 2009 will find a place between those of 1929 and 1933 talked about by our parents and grandparents.
One thing is certain: The Great Recession of 2009 will be remembered!
2010 is the Chinese year of the tiger, the tiger will fend off the three worst hazards faced by a Chinese family: "fire, theft and ghosts from the past". One can easily replace Chinese family by world economy.
The Great Recession is now a ghost from the past. Of course, this is not the final word on that matter. There are indeed indications that the recession finally stopped. But this is not the same thing as saying that the golden times are here again on a macro-economic scale.
Let's go back to the micro-economic scale of AppliTek: With modesty and prudence, I'm happy to inform you that AppliTek's strategy adopted end of 2008 has yielded good looking fruits. We kept on investing in innovation and internationalization. Many new products were born and are now fueling our growth throughout 2009 and into 2010. Our market channel access strategy has created a vast platform for our products so that companies and authorities now have access to our products and services in 100+ countries on the globe. We have closed 2009, and have been able to gain more market share, to further improve our liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios and win major projects in most continents.
We would like to thank hereby all our stakeholders, specially our AppliTek people, our sales partners, our vendors and our customers for their motivation, dedication and confidence in AppliTek. In 2010 AppliTek celebrates its 25th birthday, thanks to you all.
We wish you all a 2010 full of joy, happiness and friendship.
There's a lot of sand in the gearbox of the "Great macro-economic Machine" but it is still operating.
Pass the word!
