Top chef Peter Goossens (Hof van Cleve) & AppliTek CEO David Laurier create a "high precision" hors d'oeuvre

Top Chef Peter Goossens, owner of the Hof Van Cleve (Ranked 26th on the List of the 50 best restaurants in the world) & AppliTek President & CEO, David Laurier have created together on March 3, 2010 a "high precision" Hors d'oeuvre, in the kitchen of the Hof van Cleve.
Goossens and Laurier created this Hors d'oeuvre in the framework of a new image book about Belgium, called "Belgian CHEFS".
The book's objective is to position Belgium better and more in the globalized world. The foreword of the book is of the hand of Belgian's Prime Minister and is due in May, and will be officially presented at the World Expo in Shanghai 2010.
In this book 25 successful Belgian companies (both medium & big companies) that excell in their business segment are paired with 25 Belgian Top Chefs.
AppliTek has been selected from a federal long list by the publisher of the book because of AppliTek's unique expertise in cleantech and green solutions in the field of monitoring, its innovative character, its internationalization track record and AppliTek wow-effect, the publisher of the book adds.
Top Chef Peter Goossens, Top Chef of the Hof van Cleve (Michelin guide: ***, Gault Millau 19,5/20 and the 26th best Restaurant in the World) agreed to partner with the CEO of AppliTek to create a special dish. Goossens and Laurier have thus appropriately created a dish consisting of ingredients inspired by both the typical characteristics of the Hof van Cleve and AppliTek. Given the fact that AppliTek is a specialist in high precision instruments, Top Chef Goossens got the brilliant idea to create a "high precision dish" made with precision-gear and top ingredients. This unique book will be officially presented at the World Expo in Shanghai 2010 in May, and will be used by federal, regional institutions, business people, Ambassadors, as a gift to foreign state leaders and to business people visiting our country and companies.
