AppliTek CEO inducted in Gallery of Academic Leaders &Entrepreneurs in Mexico

During the conference “Arte, Ciencia y Tecnología – Proponiendo soluciones a un mundo complejo” (Proposing solutions to a complex world) organized by the Technological Institute of Monterrey in Mexico, our CEO David Laurier has been inducted in the inaugural gallery of Academic Entrepreneurs (Líder Académico). Our CEO gave a lecture titled "The Essential Habits of Small & Medium Size Niche Companies to Become Globally Thriving Companies" to the students and the academic corps of the Technological Institute of Monterrey.
The Tecnológico de Monterrey is a Mexican private educational institution that was founded in 1943. At the present time, it has 31 campuses distributed throughout the country, and academic centers in Mexico and other Latin American countries, with over 90,000 students. It also has international offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. Through its Virtual University it is present all over the world, by means of learning networks and advanced information technologies.
During the conference on Feb. 27, 2011 held at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus, also Prof. Dr. Manuel Peimbert Sierra was inducted in the gallery of Academical Leaders. Dr. Peimbert Sierra is one of the world’s most respected astronomers and is member of the Science Advisory Board of the President of the Republic of Mexico. About 35 years ago Dr. Peimbert was the first researcher to find out that the mass in the universe is 23% helium & 77% hydrogen.
