Dear stakeholders and Friends of AppliTek

Upcoming policy decisions in the US and Europe hold the key to the global growth outlook. With "rainy days" in Europe, frail growth in the US and a further dimming of emerging market economies' growth prospects, global growth is falling below its long-term average. So far the world economy!

Let's zoom in on AppliTek !

2011 has again been an absolute record breaking year for AppliTek.

With modesty and prudence, I'm happy to inform you that AppliTek's strategy adopted a few years ago has yet again yielded great fruits in 2011, and not only the low hanging ones! Our investments in people, innovation and internationalization have led to many new products, and exactly these new products are now fueling our rapid growth throughout 2011 into 2012. Our market channel access strategy has created a vast platform for our products so that companies and authorities now have access to our products and services in 150+ countries.

Financially, Dun & Bradstreet (NYSEDNBhas again qualified AppliTek as a top company. They state: “AppliTek is doing extremely well financially, they therefore get a nr. 1 rating. “Stakeholders can rest easy and assured”, the report continues…

We would like to thank hereby all our stakeholders, specially OUR APPLITEK PEOPLE (thank you, you are amazing!), our sales partners (thank you!), our vendors (thank you!) and our customers (thank you!) for their motivation, dedication and confidence in AppliTek.

This year we have decided not to send out New Year cards to our valued stakeholders, but instead the Board decided to financially support a fund, called the "Jan Filliers Fonds" (www.fondsjanfilliers.be). The fund awards scholarships to young people (12 - 25 years old) who are victims of a traffic accident in which they were left physically disabled or permanenly  maimed. The scholarships assist the young people in their personal development. The fund is active in Flanders.

The Fund is named after Jan Filliers, a entrepreneur and citizen of the hometown of AppliTek, and a good friend of our company, who passed away in a tragic coach accident a few years ago (see news item). His wife and children were left disabled as a result of the accident in which their respective husband and father died. If you like the idea of supporting this fund as well, please wire your contribution to:

Bank account number: IBAN BE 10 0000-0000004-04

We all at AppliTek wish you all a 2012 full of joy, happiness and friendship!
