Last week the organizing comittee of the Antwerp Forum confirmed AppliTek CEO David Laurier as panelist in the panel discussion on China’s Green Industry and Opportunities for European Firms, on November 23rd. Laurier, also Vice Chairman and forefront runner of AppliTek's ambitions in China, will share its ideas and experience on how to effectively link supply and demand for a sustainable "green" economy, as well as to align common business interests.

The Antwerp Forum: Linking Business between China and Europe  (November 22nd - 23rd) will be the first edition of a biannual event to be organized by the Antwerp Management School and the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC).

With approximately 100 business managers from leading Chinese companies to be expected, the aim of the Antwerp Forum is to:

  • Inform Belgian companies on opportunities and challenges of recent developments in China
  • Attract Chinese investments by organising individual B2B-sessions and company visits by screening of Belgian and Chinese companies, in order to stimulate meetings between these companies and generate more concrete business leads
  • Promote Antwerp in China as an economic hub, port, fashion city, diamond city, and to promote Flanders/Belgium as gateway to Europe for Chinese companies
