On-line monitoring of phosphating baths
Iron and steel - Metal - Metal plating industries
Zinc phosphating is the most commonly applied surface treatment for developing good bonding qualities between paint and the galvanized steel sheet. The deposition process inside the phosphating bath gradually depletes the active chemical components (zinc, nickel, phosphate...). Since not all components are depleted at the same rate, and these individual depletion rates are highly dependent on process conditions it is difficult to gain control over the efficiency of the process.
AppliTek process analyzers take over the time consuming analysis procedures, low reproducibility... and assure feedback on the exact bath composition within narrow margins. Your benefits are self-evident: high quality coatings by high quality conversion media, with reduced operating costs.
