Energy absorption instrumentation deploys a high-frequency electromagnetic measurement technique accurately sensing volume percentages (NOT level) in oil-water phase separations.
Energy absorption is the ideal method of interface control for separation processes and has been used with success in refineries and petrochemical operations throughout the world. Control applications have varied from the relatively simple storage tank dewatering processes to complex desalter control systems.
