Process NIR Analyzers
Powder, tablet and capsule production
AppliTek offers non-destructive and non-contact analytical near infrared (NIR) technology for multi -component analysis of pharmaceutical products in all stages of the production process, from raw material ID to tablet inspection. Physical and chemical properties in powders, tablets, capsules and even liquids are measured on-line and at high scanning rates.
The NIR analyzers are implemented either directly in-line or through fiber optics. The best possible solution will be choosen according to your application or site requirements. 21 CFR Part 11 Compliant software is part of the supply for pharmaceutical applications.
Applications
- Manufacture of excipients, actives
- Manufacture of capsules
- Incoming raw materials
- Dispensary (active, exc ipients)
- Blending, granulation
- Transdermal patches
- Inspection of product (before/after packaging)
- Solvent recovery
- Drying (FBD, Spray, etc.)
- Blend/Dryer Ending Point Monitor
Parameters
Theoretically, distinct fingerprints can be linked to any chemical or physical component present in the sampled object and modeled for prediction. However, process changes, recipe changes or impurities may require additional modeling.
